Learning outcomes
The student is offered an in-look into the history of language and learns to understand the historical changes in spoken as well as written language. The student is shown the differences in dialects and originating languages and is asked to understand historical language changes.
The student uses their critical thinking while analyzing text and is able to understand linguistic changes in the English language - phonetics, lexicology and other fields of the language.
