| Course content |

1. Teachers personality, motivation for the teaching profession, formal education and personal life journey. 2. Ability to communicate and develop learner motivation. 3. Working with the classroom and idividuals, engaging problem learnes in classroom and school life. 4. Communication with parents of students. Hyperprotective families indifferent and threatening to the healthy development of students. 5. Basic methods of social psychological practice in solving problems in the classroom, connecting class life with the outside world, field trips, study stays, educational events, Olympics, sports and humanitarian events, volunteer activites. 6. Risk factors in the teaching profession. 7. Too much involvement with the school world and lack of contact with people outside the teaching profession. Exhaustion and burnout, personal and family problems, addiction to cyberspace, alcohol ands drugs, sexual abuse. 8. Notes on the educational psychological problem of the contemporary student population. 9. Growing psychological problems, especially anxiety, sexual identity insecurity, self-harm, depression, eating disorders. Declining ability to cope with the normal demands of life, declining resilience to stress and to deal with personal problems. 10. The growing dependence on social networks and its fatal imapct on the quality of life of children and young people. 11. Exceptionally girted student and students with borderline abilities to cope with the demands of school. The importance of recognizing high giftedness and developing it.
