Course content
The internship will be carried out in the first grade of an elementary school during the first two weeks of the new school year. The students will work as teacher-assistants. They will be acquinted with the school organization, the pedagogical documentation and the activities of the after-school care centre. The internship venue is chosen by the students themselves, it can also be in their place of residence. It is not possible to carry out the internship outside the period given.

The aim is to gain insight into the demands on the pupils in the first grade as well as practical skills under the guidance of a teacher trainer with the focus on the specifics of children´s entering the school environment and the familiarization with the specific problems of educational activities in the initial phase.
