The subject is topic-oriented and considers study of branch-related issues. Apart from these, the students are encouraged to gain language knowledge in individual topics of: 1. Study 2. Jobs and Employment 3. Social Issues 4. Addictions 5. Crime 6. Global Issues 7. The Environment 8. Discrimination

Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on non-linguist students and encourages students to produce their own professional ideas and are motivated to do their own foreign-language studying. The language skills level is B1-B2.
Student acquires language skills in foreign language for specific academic and professional purposes at B1 - B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Prerequisites

The student is expected to have developed a positive attitude to the language studied. Their language skills level is B1.
