Key learning outcomes The aim of the doctoral study programme is to provide academic training for specialists engaged in broadly conceived research into Czech history and cultural history from the Middle Ages to contemporary history within the context of European development, including possible interdisciplinary overlaps. The programme places emphasis on the scholarly and creative activities of doctoral students in the field of historical research, further developing their ability to investigate the past independently and critically, and to contribute to knowledge of the political, economic, social, cultural, and intellectual development of human society.
