Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire an education and a professional qualification: to make a career in the health service, to administer direct care for the personal needs of the individual (healthy, ill and handicapped), family and community in agreement with the strategy 'Health for everyone in the 21st Century', which respects the basic principle of the european strategy of the World Health Organisation (WHO) for the education of nurses and midwives (European strategy for the care and health 1984, 51. World health assembly 1998, Nurses and midwives for health 1988, programme EUROHEALTH 2000-2005), to fulfill a basic function in society: autonomy, cooperation, research development and development of support in the area of nursing, planning, coordination and managing nursing care and services, to make a career in the various areas of the health system for the healthy population (primary, secondary, tertialy) in the Czech Republic in order to be in agreement with the requirements of the countries of the EU.
