Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates acquire qualifications as teachers of English for the 2nd level of primary schools. As such, they are equipped with knowledge of the English language and the second studied subject, methodology and didactics of the English language, pedagogy and psychology and they will be capable of applying them in the course of their teaching and other professional activities performed in a school. The graduate is capable of performing a didactic analysis of the curriculum and is practically prepared to apply suitable forms and methods of tuition for attaining the required educational targets. At the same time the graduate will be prepared for being accepted in a doctoral programme at the university that has the appropriate (methodology of teaching English). The student will make use of his/her qualification for finding further study opportunities abroad.
