Key learning outcomes The study programme focuses on highly current issues of the records management and on all problem areas of archiving or archivistics as a specific scientific discipline (development of archives and their institutionalization, archival theory and methodology, protection of archive materials and archival legislation, management of archives, archival informatics, their publishing and educational activities, archival technology and education of archivists, all in the European context). This goal will be achieved through a balanced model of teaching, which will take into account the methodology of working with the so-called classic analog documents, as well as electronic documents. In addition to expert knowledge, great emphasis will be placed on the acquisition of expert skills affecting communication skills and independent work with domestic and foreign expert literature and the ability to actively use at least one world language. The main and most important goal of the study programme is to master the basic principles of working with documents in the official stage of their development (with due emphasis on electronic documents and e-Government) and subsequent work with documents selected according to binding indicators for permanent archival storage of documents (again including electronic ones). This current framework will take into account all current legislation in this area. Due attention will also be paid to the graduate's ability to create archival access aids for researchers and the possibilities of using these aids and their own archival documents online.
