Key learning outcomes
|
Special competences are focused on general knowledge and skills in special pedagogy, especially in the area of sociology and selected medical disciplines. Absolvents are able to use their educational and communicative knowledge and skills, students are able to apply the principles of education during work with individuals with special educational needs, students are also able to work with children and individuals with special educational needs, graduates are able to design a methodology for a case study of a certain individual with special educational need, they have general knowledge of educational and social law aspects written in legislature of the Czech Republic, especially in the areas such as: education and pedagogy, administration etc. Social competences are necessary for successful communication during work with individuals with specific educational needs and also during communication with these individuals or disadvantaged social groups among population. Students will also gain knowledge and skills from the area of special pedagogy essential for work with specific samples of population where it is possible to predict the occurrence of a sociocultural handicap or problems with social adaptation. This competence will be useful for support and development of previously mentioned social groups of human population.
