The course is meant for all students writing their thesis at the department of mathematics. The aim is to help students with writing their thesis and with preparing for viva voce. The course will have a form of one-day conference, which students writing their thesis at the department of mathematics, members of the department of mathematics and possibly further interested persons will take part in. Every student will present his report, which should mainly contain: (a) an information about the subject of his thesis (b) results obtained by work on the subject so far (c) problems met by him during his work (d) an information about directions, in which he wants to continue doing his work. Then the instructor will hold a short talk and, finally, a discussion will take place.
