Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to introduce students into cocept of ecosystem services, which has been developing in recent decades and is still gaining in importance. Students will therefore be presented with the various benefits of ecosystem services to understand the value of nature for human society. They will get acquainted with various approaches to ecosystem services evaluation and the spectrum of data used. Based on the acquired theoretical knowledge they will be able to formulate their own proposals for measures to increase the value of nature. The course will provide students with an internationally established concept of trans-disciplinary character. It will support students' ability to use geographical education in other close area of research and practical application.

- participation at all meetings - development of a semester project in a team - presentation of the semester project
