Summer School of Geography is an international intensive course focused on possibilities of evaluation and interconnection of green and blue infrastructure in towns and cities and seeks to také into account competing demands within regional planning. Presentation of wide spectre of functions of these areas and their use during planning and decision-making in the cities are another important part of the summer school. Focal points are also various points of view in the Czech, German and also European context. Evaluation of relevant types of green and blue infrastructure is based on the concept of ecosystem services. Summer School of Geography consists of lectures given by Czech and German experts in the field of ecosystem services, urban planning and physical as well as social geography and of fieldtrips to the
