Learning outcomes |
Most problems in science and technology cannot be solved in closed form, and numerical methods have to be applied to calculate approximate solutions. The course provides background and implementation details for practical applications of advanced numerical methods for solution of ordinary differential equations and solution of partial differential equations by finite difference methods.
