Lectures will comprise the review of chemical and physical methods of nanomaterials preparation including bionanotechnology, that means the utilization of microorganisms for synthesis of nanoparticles. Wide scale of practical applications of nanomaterials, nanocomposites and functional nanostructures will be presented, like functional nanostructures for opto-electrical applications, sensors, novel drug formulation and materials for environment protection (sorbents, catalysts, photocatalysts purifying waste- water and gas). Invited lectures from external experts from industry and academic institutions will be included.
