Technical report, thesis and monograph. 7. Figures and tables. Using cross-references and indexes. 8. Making graphs in print quality. 9. Tools for typesetting and drawing of chemical formulas. Programs for 3D visualization of molecules. Technical drawings and schematics. 10. Making complex images ? inset plots and illustrations, transformations, diagrams. 11. Process of creating and publishing scientific content. Collaboration in a team of authors. Peer review. 12. Scientific poster. 13. Presentation ? layout, content, and style.

This course acquaints students with fundamentals of typography and design of scientific and technical documents intended for publication, with a special focus on chemistry and related fields. Students are supposed to actively use a range of software tools to create their own documents in print quality.
