Learning outcomes
The approach of this course based on book written by Alcock (2003) is to learn how the sociobiology provides the evolutionary analysis of social behavior today. In addition we will review the controversies that have surrounded evolutionary study of social behavior. We will learn basic terms that are commonly used in this field behavior. We will understand basic principles of the behavior and modern sociobiology approaches
The student will understand basic terms, principles and approaches in biology of behavior as described in book Alcock J. The Triumph of Sociobiology. New York: Oxford University Press 2003. The student will be able to use the basic terms. He/she will be able to explain basic principles.
Prerequisites
There is no preceding course wanted. Students are expected to read and fully understand English written text. They are expected to write short answers and explain basic principles English during exams Teaching in English is meant only for erasmus and foreign students. In the case of a small number of students is teaching in a form of individual consultations.

Assessment methods and criteria

The students must be able to use terms as described in the books named above. They must be able to explain what the terms mean. In addition, they must be able explain basic principles of behavior (based on the books).
