The subject is designed as an introductory course for surdopaedia, logopaedia and speech education. The aim of the subject is to acquaint the students with the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the ear, nose and throat organs based on scientific terminology. The students are able to perform basic diagnosis of diseases or impairments of the nose, nasopharynx, larynx, ears and throat including voice, speech and pronunciation disorders.
