Topics: Definition and characteristics of psychotherapy. History and current trends in psychotherapy. Deep psychotherapy (Freud, Adler, Jung). Dynamic and interpersonal psychotherapy (Horney, Sullivan). Rogers psychotherapy Logotherapy and Existential Psychotherapy (Frankl). Gestalt Psychotherapy Behavioral Psychotherapy (Wolpe). Cognitive psychotherapy (Ellis, Beck). Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (Minuchin, Haley, Bateson).

The content of the course is to acquaint students with problems of psychotherapy. Students learn the theoretical basis and options practical use of selected psychotherapeutic approaches.
