Within the course, students are collectively assigned to provide a professional reflection of the meetings with foreign artists in their ateliers and exhibitions during the lectures and on-line meetings. Purpose of this course is to enable students to engage in a close contact with contemporary art in a more intimate, not only domestic context, and to initiate meetings with significant artists and to stimulate discussion, eventually to mediate the possibility to directly participate in the process of art. The course is taught in blocks and in English language. Part of this course is also the study support available on the platform of moodle.pf.ujep.cz, which provides a wider context of the artists? work in the form of texts and audiovisual materials (interviews with artists, exhibition videos, records of the audiovisual artwork).
