Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to provide students the view of the Czech art education in a worldwide context. A part of the course is theoretical information about the general framework of contemporary education (the classification of education ISCED) and then the overview of the European educational targets and the participation of the sector in these goals. The foreign art education is represented based on the description of the curriculum from various countries. Students search for curriculum and comparative studies of art education in various European countries and create an individual comparison. Art education in the German speaking countries is emphasized (historical and local foundation), a part of the course is also the overview of the basic technical terminology in English written literature (the support of students in the technical communication in a foreign language).
