Learning outcomes |
The course focuses on the extension of the current knowledge and skills needed for a realization of gallery animation and mediation of art work in the environment of the exhibiting institution. Students look at the art work and the possibilities of its mediation in wider cultural-historical contexts. They learn to critically reflect the change of the interpretational frame of the art work which happens due to the consequences of its integration into the environment of an exhibition which we understand as a neutral space, but as a result of consideration and work of a particular person: curator or the author of the exhibition. Students consciously apply this reflection in preparations of their art-educative program.
