Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the change of a visual culture related to the entry of digital technology and the basic orientation in the possibilities of individual media and multimedia. It introduces the basic terminology and the outcomes of studying the contemporary digital visual culture. Students acquire skills of working with a static and dynamic digital image, sound, and they search the possibilities of their mutual connection. The purpose of the course is to teach students to work individually with a digital image and sound to be able to transform creatively the digital material and the acquired knowledge and apply it during the realization of the author's art project and their pedagogic practice, whereas they reflect the project in a form of textual commentary.
