The course focuses on providing the students the basic knowledge and skills needed for the orientation in the contemporary gallery scene. In the lectures, the student is acquainted with the historical context of curatorship and the change of approaches to presenting the art work. The student acquires the basic knowledge of types and the operation of institutions focusing on the presentation of artwork, and of contemporary Czech gallery scene. The student works on the preparation of a collective curator project, which they will realize in the next term.
