Learning outcomes
The course teaches students the basic properties of the final thesis. The student learns how to give a structure to a text that would formally and factually fulfill the requirements of the qualification work. The attention is paid to an appropriate interconnection of the practical and the theoretical parts. Throughout the dialog form of education, the student is led to think over the topic of their final thesis and its development in continuous regular consultations with the thesis supervisor (four consultations are obligatory). The student learns how to present their topic and its continuous development in front of the class. The student is confronted with the recommended basic literature which gives the instruction on how to write a final thesis. The student is also confronted with the ethical principles of work on the final thesis. The student will present their thesis topic and its name, they will structure the abstract in which they explain the objective of the whole work and the specialization of individual parts of the text. The student prepares the autonomous public performance in which they present actual results of their work (the form of student conferences, reactions, remonstrance, participation of other panelists). The student will hand out to the teacher the seminar work which serves for better formulation of ideas and for profounder elaboration of the topic. This seminar work presents the basic outline and the content of the work which is completed by adding the student's brief commentary and ten standard pages of already finished fluent text.
