1. Historical development of graphic techniques. 2. Basic rules in graphic arts. 3. Composition. 4. Specifics of relief printing technology. 5. Specifics of planographic printing technology. 6. Introduction of selected artists applying various graphic techniques and their comparison.

Learning outcomes
|
The creative seminar is focused on acquiring the basic technical minimum of relief, planographic and intaglio printing, seeking new ways of thinking in graphic arts, and building bridges between classical and new technological possibilities for students' own works and realization in the educational process. After a short theoretical introduction, students realize their own projects within the printing technologies. Emphasis is put on student's creative work, originality of the project, mastering the technique and defence. Las but not least, the seminar introduces student to art personalities of the graphics media.
Course participants have basic technical knowledge and experience about relief, planographic and intaglio printing.

Basic familiarization with theoretical and practical aspects of graphics. Active engagement.
