Course content
1. Reflection of time (time line). 2. Interpretation of the best known works in 20th century. 3. Artwork in public space. 4. Transformations of landscape. 5. Recycling of materials, the use of materials in art object. 6. Diary records through art (drawing, painting, photography, video). 7. Space (private and public).

Learning outcomes
This lesson is oriented to overlaps from classic art disciplines to the new media. Students learn to understand the contemporary art, the differences in using materials, new media and also the intellectual and conceptual forms through given topics. The emphasis is placed on development of creativity and originative abilities during the realization of art work. Students work on their bigger projects but also on the short-term tasks which are based on topics in current social and cultural actions. Output of this course is an individual creative project. Student is able to exhibits and defenses the project orally and in written.
Students learn to draw, paint, work with different materials, landscapes and possibilities how to transform this into an art project with gallery area.
Prerequisites
Students know the basic of art techniques. Active approach to topics and participation in discussions.
