Learning outcomes
|
The course provides an in-depth overview of Czech art in 1960. It explains the artistic displays in deeper connections with ideological influence of cultural environment. The artistic development of the key personalities in every tendency is explained in detail. The emphasis is placed on the slighter interpretation of works. There are continuously monitored contexts with European art and reflected on the latest interpretation/knowledge to the topic. As a part of this subject is included visit of permanent expositions, exhibitions and lectures of artists/specialists.
Students are able to work with academic literature and also to compile their own academic essay on given topic. They are active in discussion.

Basic orientation in art history and active participation in discussion on theoretical topics.
