Learning outcomes
|
The course is oriented to work with static and dynamical digital images and sounds as well as look at their interconnections. Students are able to integrate digital data into their pedagogical practices in creative way. The course is directed at transformation of visual culture in connection with arrival of digital technology and origin of new media and basic orientation in variety of media and multimedia. The subject introduces students to the basic terminology and outputs for the current studium of digital visual culture.
Students are familiar with the basics programs of processing the digital video and sound and also are able to work with digital video camera, camera and recorders. Students use the digital video for own presentations and scientific and research activities. They use the contemporary multimedia technologies in lessons.

Basic knowledge and skills of the most common image formats, methods for acquiring digital images and further work with it.
