Lectures: 1. Ski technology - equipment, equipment, ski lubrication. 2. Safety in conducting ski training, White Code. 3. Technique and methodology of the basic skiing stage - cross-country skiing with the classic technique and skating. 4. Technique and methodology of the stage of basic skiing - downhill and turning on skis, basic snow and step curves. 5. History of skiing, competition disciplines, organization of competitions. 6. Czech school of skiing - a system of a comprehensive concept of teaching skiing and other ski schools. Seminars: 1. Ski technology - modification and lubrication of downhill and cross-country skis. 2. Preparation and organization of the trip. 3. Preparation of running and slalom races according to snow conditions. 4. Analysis of video recordings. Practical excercises: 1. General ski training. 2. Specialized ski training. 3. Technique and methodology of the basic skiing stage - cross-country skiing with the classic technique and skating. 4. Technique and methodology of the stage of basic skiing - downhill and turning on skis, carving and sliding curves.

The course is focused on general and specialized ski training, as well as on the basic techniques of individual methods of cross-country skiing and individual curves when descending and turning on skis in the basic skiing stage. Teaching is realized in the form of lectures, seminars and practical exercises. Students will get acquainted with the basic ski technology, ski lubrication, with the technique of downhill and cross-country skiing. Students will be able to prepare and lead the route of a cross-country ski trip and will be able to organize a race in cross-country or slalom on skis.
After completing the course: 1. Orients in basic ski terminology, methodology of teaching skiing. 2. Can explain the system of a comprehensive concept of teaching the Czech School of Skiing. 3. He knows the basic rules of safety on ski slopes and follows them. 4. Able to define the basic principles of skiing technique - in running and downhill and turning on skis. 5. Able to prepare and lead the route of a cross-country ski trip. 6. Can organize a race in cross-country or slalom on skis. 7. Able to demonstrate basic procedures for adjusting and lubricating downhill and cross-country skis. 8. Can use the acquired competencies for further possible expansion of knowledge and skills in the field.
