Course content
1. Familiarization with the content of the subject, the structure of the dance unit and the basics of creating choreography 2.-14. Students complete a practically dance-oriented training unit. We start each seminar with a warm-up with music corresponding to the chosen dance style. They will learn new dance steps, links and simple choreography with music. The seminars will include contemporary dance styles, e.g. street dance, disco dance, shuffle, hip hop, Latin American dances, salsa, house, etc.

Learning outcomes
The goal of the study is to present the basic structure of a dance movement unit, selected basic steps and connections in contemporary dance styles.
After completing the course, the student distinguishes individual dance styles and gets an overview of the basic steps in the mentioned dance styles. Can demonstrate simply dance choreography to music.
