This study-unit course is an introduction to the mechanical foundations of a human movement and a sport equipment, an application of a knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, biomechanics knowledge utilisation for determination techniques in various sports. Items of lectures and seminars: 1. Introduction. Basics of Biomechanics (history of biomechanics, branch definition) 2. Basic physical quantities, vectors (summation, substraction, scalar product, vector analysis) 3. Geometry of human body (segmentary structure of the body, weight geometry of the body, gravity axis of the body, moment of impetus) 4. Kinematics of human locomotion I. Basic terms Locomotion (steady linear, steady accelerated, circular) and Speed (immediate, average, angular, peripheral), acceleration, frequency, period, kinematics of physical point free fall, vertical throw, horizontal throw, slant throw) 5. Kinematics of human locomotion II. (kinematics of solid, kinematics of system of solids) 6. Dynamics of human locomotion I. (definition, Newton´s laws, energy, field of force and action of force, dynamics, law of momentum conservation) 7. Dynamics of human locomotion II. This study-unit course is an introduction to the mechanical foundations of a human movement and a sport equipment, an application of a knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, biomechanics knowledge utilisation for determination techniques in various sports.
Students will understand theoretically and practically in the basic physical quantities respectively. forces that can affect humans in different types of motorized locomotion. Students will be able to distinguish basic kinematic and dynamic movements man with subsequent numerical processing. The student will be able to diagnose forces in various types of environments and then calculate their possible influence on various types of movements, depending on the cross-sectional shape of the object or the material type. Student will be able to independently calculate what energy respectively. working person spends in a particular type of motor sports and locomotion. Students will be able to explain the basic structure and behavior of the musculoskeletal system during sporting activities and then selects the correct method for the accurate diagnosis.
