1. History of gymnastics, origin and development of the most famous gymnastic systems 2. Development of exercises for tools and acrobatics 3. Division of Gymnastics 4. Gymnastic sports 5. Development of motor skills in gymnastics 6. Motor learning in gymnastics 7. Structure and technique of movement 8. Motor-functional gymnastic training 9. Training preparation in gymnastic sports; planning, registration and evaluation of the training process 10. Didactic aspects in gymnastics classes 11. Rules and evaluation in gymnastics 12. Help and rescue; comprehensive analysis of exercise shape 13. Selection of gymnastic exercises in terms of optimal posture 14. Final exam

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is create the prerequisites for understanding the importance of gymnastic skills in the physical education and physical development of students and apply them in the teaching process.
Students completing the course will know the theoretical foundations of gymnastics. They will be able to explain the concept of gymnastics, including the division, they will be able to orient themselves in gymnastic sports. Students will get acquainted with a range of knowledge of motor-functional training, motor learning in gymnastics, including knowledge of didactic aspects. Students will be able to use a range of skills and knowledge to apply gymnastic exercises.
Prerequisites
Basic terminology and knowledge in the fild of physical education.
