Course content
1. Introduction to the study of the subject. Specifics of age and principles of exercise with seniors. 2. Exercise on the ground without tools. 3. Exercise on the ground with a ball and other equipment. 4. Exercise in the home environment - at the table, with a chair, by the bed, by the TV, in the door. 5. Physical activities and exercises in nature. 6. Exercises for seniors with balance aids. 7. Yoga for seniors. 8. Swimming and exercise in water. 9. Exercises to practice the senses and concentration. 10. Relaxation and stretching exercises (stretching) suitable for seniors. 11. Strength exercises suitable for seniors - specific strength exercises and fitness-coordination exercises. 12. Breathing exercises - practice of abdominal breathing, lower chest breathing, rhythmic breathing, mudra. 13. Relaxation techniques - Jacobson's progressive muscle relaxation, Schultz's autogenous training, Feldenkrais method, etc. 14. Panel discussion and evaluation of teaching.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with a wide range of exercises that can be applied in both physical education and sports practice for a specific group of seniors. The course includes exercises that aim to create the right technical habits and mechanisms of movement and then translate them into specific movement skills of everyday life. As part of the course, there is a discussion on preparations for the selected topic of individual exercise units.
Student after completing the course - has created a reservoir of exercises for physical and physical development - is able to determine the physiological effect of exercise - can communicate with practitioners in professional terminology - explain the basics of the technique of selected exercises - provide safe assistance to selected exercises - is able to use a range of skills and knowledge in practice to lead practitioners to their own activity.

Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation in teaching. Didactic output - preparation and conducting exercises according to the assigned topic. Submission of seminar work according to the topic of didactic output.
