Learning outcomes
The aim of the study-unit is to acquaint student with the basic functional, somatic and medical diagnostic and investigative procedures in kinantropology. Specifically, the student will learn to implement and interpret the body's ability to function and assess its readiness for motion / sports performance. Lectures focus on diagnostic musculoskeletal overview of the historical point of view, and especially on the latest trends in functional diagnostics. Somatic diagnosis in this study-unit is focused on the presentation of theoretical knowledge about basic and special methods of body composition assessment of its development and learning of specific diagnostic procedures that can evaluate somatic indicators athletes, but also the prerequisites for the sport. The study-unit also introduces students to the foundations of medical diagnosis and appropriate applications of physical education in particular types of impairment.
Students will learn to use specific investigative techniques of testing and diagnostics functions of the human body, including the assessment of the possible weakening of individual species. On the basis of these theoretical and practical knowledge student can put together training plan for appropriate procedures and functional somatic diagnosis, to evaluate the quality of its implementation and propose appropriate solutions identified tyoes of impairment.
