Learning outcomes
|
Students will become familiar with exercises that can be used in developing mobility skills. They will be informed of current trends applied in athletes' conditioning in different sporting disciplines. Students will learn to diagnose the level of exercise assumptions of athletes as well as the general population, become familiar with training practices and methods for developing movement assumptions, and build effective training plans for different age categories based on this knowledge.
The student is able to use the lessons learned to create meaningful exercise programs. The student can apply selected exercises in sports preparation of children, youth and adult populations at the level of interest, amateur and senior. The student can select appropriate exercises to maintain the fitness of the population of all ages. The student can identify less trained and untrained individuals and can recommend appropriate exercises in practice to positively affect health and athletic performance.
