Topics: 1. Introduction. From myth to logo. Kinanthropology in the history of thought. 2. Ancient philosophy - Pre-Socratic philosophy. Culture and human movement. 3. Ancient philosophy - Socrates and Plato. Body and corporeality. 4. Ancient philosophy of Aristotle. Physical culture and sport. 5. Ancient philosophy of Hellenism. Time and free time. 6. Ancient philosophy - Figure and style in Greek philosophy. Experience and experiential pedagogy (areté, kalokagathia, paidea). 7. Medieval philosophy. The relationship between nature, physical recreation and philosophy. 8. Renaissance philosophy. Philosophy of the game, a hero in victory and defeat. 9. Descartes and the rationalist turn of thought. Fair play. 10. Kant and the Enlightenment. Doping and ethics in sport. 11. German idealism. Philosophical, religious and ideological aspects of Olympism's ancient roots. 12. Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the essence and historical development of philosophy. It is assumed that the student knows the basics of the philosophy of high school curriculum. The course clarifies the basic principles of the philosophy of development and indicates its current tendencies and directions. It also focuses on the philosophy of sport, ethics in sport, experience, etc. Specific educational goals are aimed at students mastering the conceptual apparatus of philosophy and being informed about important philosophical issues, able to philosophically analyze events, experiences, opinions and contexts of phenomena in terms of historical and from a sports point of view.
Student after completing the course: Orients in basic terminology. The student will know the main philosophical trends and their representatives. The student will be able to place representatives of individual directions in historical contexts. The student will be able to philosophically analyze events, experiences, opinions and various contexts of philosophical phenomena not only in the context of historical events, but also in the context of kinatropological problems. The student will understand the basic ideas of philosophical texts with subsequent interpretation.
