Course content
1. Introduction. Content. objectives, principles and instructions of safety PE lessons. Basic types of gymnastic equipment. Terminology, graphical record. Credit requirements 2. Tasks and objectives of BG. Shemes of BS. Characteristics of movement and dividing exercises from anatomical and physiological point of view. Initial part of the lesson (stretching exercises and dynamic warm-up part). Sequential exercises. 3. Correct body posture. Organizations, methods, sorting and dispensing of exercises in class of BG. Technique. 4. Strengthening, bouncing and rotation exercises. Compensation exercises. Stretching and relaxation exercises. Climbing. 5. Stretching exercises, approaching part (speed, power, compensation). Health prevention in lessons of PE. The development of motor skills, general and special performance. 6. Motor tests and their use (speed, strength, endurance). The final part of the lesson. Relaxation exercises, breathing, neuromuscular coordination. 7. Theory of exercising with equipment. Exercising in pairs. Peronal capacity - revisory exercises 8. Exercising with equipment (rope, long and short skipping rope). Final part - stretching 9. Exercising with short sticks and full balls. Relaxation exercises. 10 Exercising on benches. Exercising on wall bars. Methods and forms of gymnastics. Circle working. 11. Development of dexterity, gymnastic games. Circle working (especially with small dumbbels). Stretching. 12. Used exercises (changes of walking, running, jumping, crawling, climbing - ropes, poles, vaulting box, wall bars, ladders 13. Credits: Practice - supervisory exercises. 14. Credits: Theory - terminology test.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the study unit is to provide students with basic knowledge of the applications of basic gymnastics and cultivate a set of skills, experience and habits suitable for the area of physical activities. The content of the study-unit is to acquiaint students with the floor exercise; exercise using different equipments and tools. Practical excercises include exercise used as a sequential. Students will become familiar with elements of acrobatics preparation and its use for various sports. A special emphasis is placed on structure of the lesson.
After completing this class, student: - knows the structure of training unit - is able to prepare and organize opening and closing part of training unit - has a reservoir of exercises for physical development - is able to diagnose physiological effect of gymnastic exercises - can exhibit selected elements of basic gymnastics - is able to use a spectra of knowledge and skills of basic gymnastics - is able to communicate with practitioner with scholar terminology

Assessment methods and criteria

Terminology - written test. Managing initial and final part of the lesson and creating a written preparation (description, image and physiological effect, number of repetitions, misstakes). Personal performance (10 tasks). Climbing. Sequential exercises. Active participation during lessons.
