Course content
Lectures: 1st Field Sports lékařství.Historie TVL and organization of care, preventive and curative activities of the department, guided sport, health groups. TVL in the prevention of diseases of the transport system. 2nd Preventive Cardiology, the etiology of CHD, physical activity in the prevention of respiratory failure, bronchospasm, exercise stress testing. 3rd Acute illness in physical education and sport. Stretching, tearing, tearing of muscle, tendon, mechanisms and causes of sports injuries. The most common sports injuries, problems with the treatment of sports injuries, sudden death in sport, vagal death, accident barrier. 4th Chronic Diseases in physical education and sport. Damage to the musculoskeletal system, causes chronic damage, the most common injury, treatment issues. 5th TVL and the sporting population, the issue of physical activity among women. Movements in neonates,, infants, toddlers, pre-school school, adult, middle and old age, issues of adolescent girls, menstrual cycle and menopause in women. The issue of climatic factors in the TVL. Exposure to cold, hypothermia, heat, heat cramps, heat exhaustion and failure, sports activities, organizations in these conditions. 6th Fatigue in physical education and sport, physical activity in denatured environment. Physiological and pathological fatigue, overtraining, over-voltage, zchvácení, withdrawal syndrome, the effect of factors oxygens of sulfur and nitrogen during physical activity, radioactive substances, heavy metals. 7th Education on anti-doping. Tour anti-doping activities, the present situation in sport and physical activities, doping groups, methods and sometimes forbidden doping substances, anti-doping activities. Problems? Social drugs? in sports / alcohol nikotinismus, drinking coffee .Výživa in sport. 8th Principles of nutrition, the role of sugars, fats and proteins, vitamins, minerals, trace substances, supplements. Drinking in sport mode. Adequate fluid intake before, during and after sports performance, problems with alcohol, metabolism of the internal environment supplements in the drinking mode athletes. 9th Physical activity in prevention of civilization onemocnění.Vliv movement of civilization diseases, musculoskeletal, circulatory, respiratory, metabolic diseases, problems of obesity. 10th TVL and military sports. The issue of flying and parachuting, congestion, dynamic impact, diving and barotrauma, decompression sickness, poisoning by nitrogen, oxygen intoxication. 11th Diagnosis of Sports Medicine. Signs of fitness, basic and comprehensive functional tests in sports medicine, W170, spiroergometry, Wingate test. 12th Physical fitness. Medical history, clinical examination, medical groups, types of inspections chronometráž. Examination of the locomotor system. 13th Examination of the upper body, spine, shoulder, elbow, hand, sports the most common diseases. Examination of the lower torso, hip, knee, foot, the most common sports ailments. Examination of the circulatory system. Basic examination of the circulatory system, the X-ray examination, ECG, ECG, heart sports. 14th Evaluation of growth and development of athletes. Basic and special investigative methods including somatografie, anthropometry, categorization and evaluation of biological age of the individual. Functional testing in the TVL. Simple and complex tests, functional diagnostics of motor skills, frequent pathological findings. Panel discussion, completion of the course.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the foundations of sports medicine in order to gain knowledge in particular the relationship of movement, sport and health. Emphasis is placed on explaining the issue of the relationship of movement and growth and human development and movement and the risk of lifestyle diseases. The content is a theoretical introduction to the field TVL, acute and chronic illness in sport-related movement and sporting population, with the anti-doping education, armed with the issue of sports and functional diagnostics in sports medicíně.V practical workshops is the emphasis on training of medical fitness examinations, particularly musculoskeletal and circulatory system. Students are familiarized with the methods of evaluation of growth and development and use of functional diagnostics.
Students completing the course receives both theoretical and practical knowledge of sports medicine.
