Course content
1. Apply for lessons, get to know a content, safety, lessons organising, basics of climbing movements. 2. Review of safety rules connected with its own climbing and belaying, get to know material, basic work with material - tying up, belaying. 3. Review ( putting on harness, figure eight, belay with descender), practise of belay in pairs. 4. Warm up, training exercises for climbing, review of belay, climbinig in pairs - check of correct belay and tying up. 5. Warm up, training exercises, climbing in pairs, pick up diffiulty gradually. 6. Warm up, traning exercises improving climbing technique., climbing in pairs. 7. Warm up, get to know boulder wall, climbing in pairs, final stretching. 8. Get to know other types of belay gears and other ways of tying up, abseiling, Prussik`s technique. 9. Warm up, training exercises improving climbing technique, climbing in pairs. 10. Warm up, bouldering in groups, speed climbing, final stretching. 11. Warm up, activity according to own choice ( bouldreing, climbing with rope, abseiling, Prussik`s technique. Warm up, different kinds of cross climbing, climbing competition, assessment. 13. Assessment of teaching, handing out credits.

Learning outcomes
The study-unit Indoor Climbing is divided into two parts. The first part of Indoor Climbing starts with comprehensive concept of teaching climbing on department of Physical Education and Sports. The content is a teaching of specific skills, application of basic climbing skills and safe handling of the material. The necessary theory is included. An emphasis is mainly placed on security, good basic skills, thoughtfulness and creation a sense of mutual responsibility among climbers.
After the course the student has basic movement on an artificial wall and safely controls all activities related to climbing (networking, protection, down movement, rappel, commands, etc.)
Prerequisites
Adequate physical and mental condition, and teamwork skills and self-control.

Assessment methods and criteria

Only for students of second year of bachelors studies !!!!!! Attending classes in the range of 80%, practical demonstration of the basic techniques of rope and climbing on artificial walls, including rappelling. Test of theory.
