Course content
|
Introduction of the system and forms of providing crisis intervention in the Czech rep. The notion of crisis, crisis intervention, crisis dynamism, types of crisis, rules and principals of dealing with crises Enabling students to realize their own attitude to crisis through practical and experiential exercise, acquiring basic techniques of work with a crisis-endangered person including active listening, mapping of the issue, companionship, etc.

- introduce the system of providing crisis intervention - introduce different forms and basic principals of crisis intervention - introduce the dynamism of genesis and development of crises with consideration of crises typology - acquire basic rules of approach to the client in crisis considering the specificity of their situation - support the development of the ability to work accurately with both the declared and the hidden problems of the clients
Students will learn to distinguish client's issue and concretize the problematic point in the situation. They will improve the orientation in crisis situation dynamism. They will acquire the basic algorythm of work with a client in crisis. They will be able to deal with their own emotional processes and limits easier.
