The course is focused on acquiring basic knowledge in the field of sound of the Czech language and in the field of morphology of contemporary Czech. Students are expected to have a good knowledge of the Czech language at the level of secondary school curriculum and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical language exercises. Students will use the knowledge gained in this course in other follow-up courses in the field of synchronous Czech language.
