Students will be encouraged to reflect on science in a philosophical context. Appreciate the relationship between philosophy and science, as interdependent and complementary. They will be inducted into the historical, social and cultural context of the development of scientific thought. Students learn the terminology, functions, methods and possibilities of philosophical thinking in relation to science and the issues they will be able to apply to the current educational reality. Students also will be able to express in writing their understanding of the fundamental philosophical problems of science in educational contexts.
