Learning outcomes
The course practically uses the knowledge that students gained during the study of high school and the Integrated Science Basis I. - II. The content of the compulsory elective course consists of a pair of excursions. One is more focused on knowledge of living and inanimate nature of the Bohemian Central Mountains, knowledge and determination of common plant species and other natural products and the possibility of their use in teaching. An integral part of the excursion is a practical orientation in the field. The second excursion is more focused on environmental issues, its goal is a cultural landscape with various examples of its use and possible degradation and devastation.
The student actively uses the knowledge and skills acquired in the courses of the Integrated Science Foundation. He is able to know the basic species of plants growing wild in our territory, he can discuss the possibilities of using the found natural products in teaching. He can orientate himself in the terrain using a tourist map and use GPS navigation.
