The course is focused on obtaining basic information on the issues of Czech and world literature for children. It presents students with a comprehensive overview of Czech and world authors and works of literature for children. Attention is paid to the interpretation of selected texts of literature for children, illustrative work of artists of children's books and the issue of animated, puppet and film adaptations of texts of literature for children. Czech and world literature for children in the context of the development of individual genres of literature for children.
