Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to create suitable pedagogical-psychological attitudes to teaching pupils (including pupils with SEN) in the 1st year of elementary school and to acquire basic and specific methodological procedures in reading and writing practice in connection with knowledge of general didactics, developmental psychology, pedagogy and special education. pedagogy. Students get acquainted with a historical overview of the development of reading and writing methods and acquire skills for teaching reading and writing by analytical-synthetic method. They also get acquainted with the genetic method, the Three Starts method, the Global method and the Sfumato method. They acquire the practical skills of bound and unbound writing, the competence to diagnose the reading and written performance of a pupil (including pupils with learning disabilities) and the specific features of Czech language teaching and literary education in the 1st year of elementary school.
