The course builds on the disciplines of the contemporary Czech language, pedagogy and psychology, with which students became acquainted during their studies. In the course, students prepare for entry into teaching practice, including work with students with SEN. They get acquainted with the concept, content and goal of teaching at primary school (including pupils with SEN), with various methods and forms of work, with lingvodidactic and psycholinguistic problems that the Czech language teacher solves in his practice at the primary school, namely even in the teaching of pupils with SEN. Within the lectures, emphasis is placed on the Framework Educational Program for Elementary Education (FEP), SEP, expected outcomes/goals, curriculum and resources leading to the achievement of goals in the 1st and 2nd period of language and communication education. In the seminars, they learn to work with textbook series for the primary school (including methodological manuals), independently process and simulate grammar exercises, process preparations for teaching, while students learn special practice methods, even with regard to pupils with SEN.
