The course presupposes students' knowledge of the Czech language at the secondary school level. The course deepens the students' existing knowledge with a more comprehensive view of the linguistic analysis of the written text. The aim of the course is for students to master a comprehensive linguistic analysis of a short written text from any functional style area. Comprehensive linguistic analysis includes analysis of textual (and stylistic), syntactic, lexical and word-forming, morphological sound and graphic levels of language.
