Course content
Within the course, students will visit two selected preschool facilities with an alternative or innovative program. The purpose will be to acquaint students with innovative programs of preschool education in order to provide examples of good practice. At the same time, to expand students' awareness of the specifics and pedagogical practice in alternative kindergartens, as well as the possibilities of implementing innovative elements in the practice of ordinary kindergartens.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the excursion will be to develop students' competencies acquired in the study subjects: Preschool Pedagogy I, Preschool Pedagogy II and Alternative Educational Concepts. It will also be a starting point for other subjects of the study plan. The excursion will thus have an interdisciplinary character, in which it will be a matter of connecting students' theoretical knowledge with their practical use.
The student will combine the acquired theoretical knowledge with practical examples collected during the excursion.
