The discipline is intended for students who want to deepen their socio-cultural knowledge in the integration and education of children who come to Czech kindergartens with different cultural and other living conditions. The aim of the course is to equip students with socio-cultural competences, especially knowledge of the culture of the country from which children of foreigners come to Czech kindergartens, their traditions, customs and differences from Czech culture. Within the discipline, students acquire the so-called socio-cultural minimum, which is a necessary prerequisite for teachers for the successful integration and education of foreign children in Czech preschools.
