Learning outcomes
The child's sensitivity to nature develops strongly in preschool age. It is therefore up to kindergarten teachers to have a positive effect on their mentees in this regard. The ideal form in such a case is a stay in nature, which is natural for children. The course focuses mainly on the acquisition of competencies related to the above aspects. Excursions are realized with students focused on getting to know the nearest natural environment, connected with a demonstration of the didactic use of both the environment itself and the natural resources found here. The aim of the course is also to practice and expand some practical natural and geographical competencies of students.
The student will create and present a proposal for a several-hour block of activities in kindergartens taking place completely in the outdoor environment. In doing so, it respects the principles of outdoor learning and advocates the inclusion of specific activities.
